Q. What is JoystickTales.com?


A. JoystickTales.com is a community based effort to bring together cultural media and entertainment for video game fans around the world. Everyone enjoys playing games once in a while (or in our case, all the time) so we decided to create an all inclusive media hub for anything and everything related to video game culture!




Q. I can’t post a comment! Why not?


A. Commenting is a member’s only feature you will unlock after completing our virtually instant Facebook Connect process. We decided to approach commenting this way to essentially eliminate anonymous spam and help minimize inappropriate comments. One of our primary focuses here at JoystickTales is our Community and we want our members to have the best experience possible while visiting us.




Q. What is Facebook Connect and how does it work?


A. Facebook Connect allows anyone to join the JoystickTales community without having to fill out a single form. All you need is a Facebook account, the rest is automatic!




Q. What happens once I signed-up?


A. You will then have full access to all available site features including your own customizable profile page and the ability to post comments! As more features are designed and added over time, community members are guaranteed first access to them.




Q. I have a funny screenshot I took playing my favourite game, can I send it to you?


A. My friend this is what we are all about! You can help contribute to JoystickTales with photos, videos (or links to), personal video game related stories or any other media. If you think it would be entertaining for gamers, we’d love to check it out and even potentially include it on the site. Visit our Submit Content page if you’ve got something good to send us!




Q. I sent you guys something, why don’t I see it on the site yet?


A. Honestly this could be due to variety of reasons but fear not, it’s most likely because of the back-log of quality content we have at any given time. You will probably end up seeing it posted sometime in the near future so make sure to check back every couple days to see what’s new!




Q. Can I link to JoystickTales.com on my website/blog?


A. Absolutely! Feel free to link to any of our content.




Q. Can we exchange links?
